DESCRIPTION:Due to all of my exhibitions being cancelled since March and in fact only one possible one left for this year\, I have decided to have a pop up exhibition in my driveway on Saturday 8th August from 10am until 2pm. This is in Cliff Lane\, Ipswich\, IP3. Address shown below. \n\nNo obligation to buy of course\, just come for a browse to see what I have been doing. There will be greeting cards for sale as well as paintings ranging in size from 30x30cm to 80x80cm. \nSocial distancing will be observed. SUMMARY:Suffolk Open Studios Winter Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:A stunning purpose-built space\, 33 metres long\, in the middle of glorious land close to the River Alde and full of natural light. \nStarted in London in 2006\, printroom studio exhibits here and online at www.printroom.studio . \nPrintroom selects work of the highest quality by a wide range of innovative and challenging artists. The artists range from recent graduates to the mature and well established\, an international selection they are currently from USA\, Australia\, Spain\, Ireland\, and the UK. There is a library and sitting area where you can browse through books and periodicals about printmaking. \nPrintroom is owned and directed by Monica Petzal. Monica trained as a painter at the Royal College of Art in the late 1970s\, as an art historian at the University of Sussex and more recently as a printmaker at Camberwell College of Art. She has worked as a tutor in art schools\, a critic\, including a long stint at Time Out and for 14 years as the Director of the Foundation for Women’s Art. \nThis exhibition will be curated by Monica is association with Suffolk Open Studios and will select a cohesive body of work of a high standard. The opening times are: \nOpening evening Friday 12th November then Sat 13th\, Sun 14th\, Fri 19th\, Sat 20th\, Sun 21st\, Fri 26th\, Sat 27th and Sunday 28th November 2021.
