I live and work in Ipswich, Suffolk (UK) and have been interested in art since I was a child but only started taking lessons in my twenties. I started creating abstract work in oils and began selling these in 2005 when I was living in Dubai.
Getting more and more busy in 2006, I started working in acrylics to meet the demand for work that was being commissioned for hotels and interior designers and started working as an artist full time.
I took part in many exhibitions and markets in Dubai, including having a stall at a weekly market for over 3 years. I also provided paintings for a number of hotels in the Emirate, including the Address Dubai Mall, The Marriott Harbour Dubai and the Four Points Sheraton. In addition my paintings can also be found at a private villa belonging to Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.
In 2011 I moved back to the UK and continued my abstract work, eventually having a studio built at the end of my garden in Ipswich.
I am an elected member of Ipswich Art Society as well as being on the committee of Suffolk Open Studios and a member of Felixstowe Art Group. I take part in exhibitions in Suffolk as well as around the UK and Europe – you can find details of all of these on the events page.
My focus currently is on a body of abstract expressionist work which allows me to experiment with mark making and colours and patterns with a lot of my work transitioning to become aerial views of seascapes.
I have been featured 3 times in Saatchi Art collections in 2022 and 2023, and also sell my art worldwide via that platform where you can also buy selected prints of my work.
I keep all of my current activities updated on my Facebook page and also post lots of information on Instagram.
If you are interested in any of my paintings or would like to offer gallery representation then please feel free to contact me.
